John S. Williams sponsors a Black History Essays and Arts contest at St. Peter Claver Catholic School

New Orleans, Louisiana — The Law Offices of John S. Williams is sponsoring an Essay and Arts Contest for the students of St. Peter Claver Catholic School in honor of Black History Month. The topic for the contest is “Why do you think its important to celebrate Black History month every year?” The young people are encouraged to answer this question using original artwork or by writing an essay.

The grand prize is 2 tickets each for the top 9 students to watch the New Orleans Pelicans play the Indiana Pacers on February 4th in the Law Offices of John S. Williams luxury suite inside the Smoothie King Center. The winners will be announced on Friday, February 1, 2019.

St. Peter Claver Catholic School has provided premium catholic education to students for over 94 years. The school is located in the historic Treme neighborhood with a special history rooted in African American heritage and Catholic faith traditions.
